Use at your own risk
OpenCore Legacy Patcher modifies the EFI partition of your Mac and applies kernel-level patches to macOS. The Dortania team has done excellent work to make this safe and reversible — but installing an operating system that Apple did not certify for your hardware is inherently at your own risk.
By following information from this site you acknowledge that:
- Neither this site nor its operators are liable for data loss, corrupted installs, soft-bricks, or any other damage that may occur.
- Apple Inc. does not provide warranty support for Macs running macOS versions they did not officially certify for that hardware.
- You will take a complete Time Machine backup (or equivalent) before installing OCLP on any production Mac.
- You have read the official Dortania install guide, which is the authoritative source of installation instructions and known-issue lists.
